Shreveport, LA – July 31, 2024 – Volunteers for Youth Justice (VYJ) and My Community Cares (MCC) invite caregivers to join us for our upcoming Parent Café, themed “Tending Your Garden.” This engaging event will focus on strengthening families and fostering supportive community connections.

- AB Palmer Community Center: Thursday, August 1st, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
- Common Ground: Monday, August 5th, 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM
At this event, caregivers will have the opportunity to discuss essential strategies for nurturing their family environments while enjoying delicious food and the chance to win exciting door prizes!
My Community Cares Parent Café events are designed specifically for parents, providing a safe and welcoming space for conversation and fellowship.
