The Harbor is a resource center designed to meet the needs of children and families in our community. The Harbor houses various agencies at one location and provides the public with access to mental health services, parenting education, child advocacy services, domestic violence counseling and current Volunteers for Youth Justice programming.

The Calming Studio is a resource for children and families served by Volunteers for Youth Justice, including Caddo Juvenile Court, Desoto Parish Court, DCFS and agencies located at The Harbor, the Calming Studio is a controlled and intentionally designed sensory space where children, youth, and adults can feel safe and secure despite the stressful environment and circumstances they find themselves in. With multi-sensory resources that include areas with physical activity, mental stimulation, and a calming influence, the Calming Studio can help individuals regulate their own behavior and support their sensory needs.
