Volunteers for Youth Justice Offers Free Nurturing Parenting® Program

Volunteers for Youth Justice (VYJ) is excited to announce the launch of its Nurturing Parenting® Program, a valuable, free initiative aimed at enhancing parenting skills and fostering positive family dynamics. The 10-week program kicks off on Thursday, October 10, 2024, and will be held every Thursday through December 12, 2024, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Harbor, 3004 Knight Street, Building 6, Shreveport, LA 71105.

The Nurturing Parenting® Program is an evidence-based curriculum designed to support parents and caregivers in developing nurturing behaviors and promoting healthy physical and emotional development in children. The program also focuses on setting appropriate role and developmental expectations.
